…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Metronome MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Metronome to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate billing code with real Metronome data
This MCP Server connects Cursor directly to your live billing environment, letting you write code that uses real responses from `list_products` and `list_credit_types`. Instead of guessing the structure of your pricing units, the editor pulls the actual JSON schema into your context. When you write integration tests, you can ask Cursor to call `search_events` to verify how your local event stream maps to Metronome's ingestion system. This eliminates the need to jump back and forth between your code and an API testing tool.
Scaffold customer onboarding flows in Cursor
Building automated user provisioning scripts becomes trivial when your Cursor agent has access to `create_customer` and `create_contract`. You can describe your billing workflow in plain English, and the agent will generate the correct TypeScript or Python code while verifying the API calls succeed. If your application needs custom metadata, the agent can use `add_custom_field_key` and `set_custom_field_values` to configure your schema during development. You get working, tested integration code on your first try.
Debug billing alerts directly from your editor
Debugging complex webhook alerts is painless when Cursor has direct access to `create_alert` and `create_notification`. You can write backend webhooks to handle these alerts while the editor generates the exact payloads you should expect. By calling `get_audit_logs` directly inside Cursor, you can trace errors and verify that your local webhooks are processing Metronome lifecycle events correctly. It makes end-to-end billing integration testing much faster.
