Connect Miniflux (RSS Reader) MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Miniflux (RSS Reader) to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Injecting live tech news into Cursor Agent mode
Your Cursor agent uses `list_entries` to pull the latest industry updates directly into your coding context. When you are writing code or researching a new API, the agent pulls down-to-the-minute documentation updates from your feeds. This integration means you never have to search the web for recent changelogs. The agent reads the raw content using `fetch_entry_content` and suggests code modifications based on the actual text.
Automated category management using this MCP Server
This MCP Server lets you organize your developer feeds using `create_category` and `update_feed` without leaving Cursor. You can group feeds by programming language, framework, or project phase directly from the chat sidebar. Keeping your feeds clean is straightforward. The agent runs `delete_feed` or `update_entries_status` to prune noisy sources while you focus on writing code.
Subscribing to new source feeds while coding
Your Cursor client uses `discover_subscriptions` to scan any documentation page or blog URL you are currently reading. If the agent finds a valid feed, it subscribes you immediately using `create_feed`. You can also import your entire development feed backlog using `import_opml`. The agent handles the parsing and places them into the correct categories.
