Connect Miniflux (RSS Reader) MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect Miniflux (RSS Reader) to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Team-wide feed sharing using this MCP Server
Your VS Code Copilot client uses `list_feeds` and `list_entries` to keep your entire engineering team aligned on industry standards. By committing the server configuration to your repository, every developer gets instant access to your team's curated feeds. No one has to manually manage subscriptions. The agent pulls the latest security advisories and framework updates directly into the VS Code chat interface.
Tracking security advisories with an MCP Server
This MCP Server uses `fetch_entry_content` to let Copilot scan release notes for critical security issues. You can ask the agent if any of your dependencies have active vulnerabilities reported in your feeds. The agent checks the raw text and flags matches. It uses `toggle_entry_bookmark` to star important alerts so you can review them later.
Managing feed subscriptions from the editor
Your VS Code Copilot agent uses `create_feed` and `delete_feed` to manage your team's RSS subscriptions directly from the terminal or chat. You do not need to open a browser window to add a new engineering blog. If you have a curated list of feeds, the agent imports it using `import_opml`. It keeps everything organized by running `create_category` on demand.
