Connect MintMCP MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect MintMCP to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Execute backend code safely from Cursor
`mintmcp_run_tool_action` executes code and API commands directly from the Cursor agent mode while maintaining a secure gateway proxy. Instead of writing mock data, your agent calls live backend services and injects the actual responses straight into your active file. This allows you to build features using real API payloads without exposing your local environment to raw external networks. The gateway handles the authentication, ensuring every execution is tracked.
Map out available virtual environments
`mintmcp_list_virtual_servers` indexes all active proxy environments that group your tools by function or team. Your Cursor agent queries this list to find the exact configurations it needs to interact with your staging or production setups. Using `mintmcp_get_virtual_server` alongside this list lets the agent pull specific schema details for a selected environment. You can switch contexts in your editor without manual configuration files.
Validate code parameters against an MCP Server policy
`mintmcp_get_tool_policy` retrieves the active SOC2 governance rules and RBAC limits for a specific tool integration. This ensures the Cursor agent knows exactly what parameters are allowed before it attempts to write or execute a command. If a parameter violates the policy, `mintmcp_eval_guardrail` intercepts the string and blocks execution. This double-layer check stops bad inputs from hitting your backend services during live coding sessions.
