Generate code using real book schemas in Cursor
`get_work` fetches the precise JSON structure of a book, including its description, subjects, and publication history. Your Cursor agent uses this live payload to generate accurate data models and test suites. Instead of coding with dummy data or outdated stubs, you write code that handles actual responses from the catalog. This MCP Server ensures your application's book-parsing logic matches the real API schema.
Automate bibliography generation in your editor
`search_by_title` retrieves exact matches for book titles so your Cursor agent can build citation generators. The tool returns precise metadata, saving you from writing custom web scrapers. If you need to map out entire bibliographies, your agent can run `search_by_author` to grab every edition. This integration keeps your coding focus entirely inside the Cursor interface while building reference tools.
Filter book data by language and publisher
`search_by_language` lets your Cursor agent filter catalog queries using ISO 639-1 codes like eng or jpn. This tool makes it easy to test how your localized application handles non-English book records. Having these tools inside Cursor means you can verify your sorting algorithms with real-world datasets. You can also call `search_by_publisher` to test your cataloging features against specific academic or technical publishers.
