Connect Nationalize MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Nationalize to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Connect the Nationalize MCP Server
The `predict_nationality` tool takes a name string and returns a probabilistic breakdown of its country of origin. You pass a last name to Cascade, and the agent hits the Nationalize.io API to fetch the demographic distribution. Windsurf uses this data to chain multiple actions together without asking you for permission. If you tell Cascade to build a localized greeting component, it reads the name array, pulls the region codes, and generates the switch statements automatically.
Build region-aware features
Cascade handles the entire data flow when you feed it user lists. It queries the `predict_nationality` tool for each entry, sorts the results by the highest probability score, and maps the output to your database schema. The MCP integration skips the manual API setup entirely. The agent writes the fetch logic, handles the JSON response, and injects the localized strings right into your active file.
Automate demographic testing
Testing localization logic usually requires mocking massive datasets by hand. Windsurf bypasses that by calling the tool directly during test generation, pulling real-world country codes for specific test names. You just ask Cascade to write a test suite for your routing logic. It figures out which names trigger which regional fallbacks, generates the assertions, and runs the tests in your terminal.
