How to Use the Netlify MCP in Cline
Cline can now build, test, and manage your Netlify projects. Give it a task and watch it write the code and trigger the build.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Netlify MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Netlify to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Code and Deploy in One Flow
This toolset gives Cline direct access to your Netlify workflow. It doesn't just suggest code; it acts. Tell Cline to "Fix the header bug and deploy the change to staging." It will write the code, run the tests, and then use the `trigger_build` tool to kick off a new Netlify deployment. You just review the diff and approve.
Build UIs with Live Netlify Data
Stop mocking API data for your components. With this server, Cline can build frontends using real data from your Netlify account. Ask Cline to "Build a React component that displays the latest form submissions." It calls `list_form_submissions` to get live data, then writes the component code, imports, and all. It's a much faster way to work.
Your Netlify Tools for Cline
An autonomous agent is only as good as the tools it can use. This Netlify MCP Server gives Cline a full toolkit for managing your sites. Tell Cline, "Audit my sites and report any with failed builds in the last 24 hours." It will use `list_sites` and `list_builds` to gather the data and generate a report right inside VS Code. It does the tedious work for you.
