How to Use the Nifty MCP in Cursor
Write code with context. Let Cursor pull live Nifty data into your editor to build features based on real project requirements.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Nifty MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Nifty to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Bring Nifty context into Cursor
Stop guessing requirements while coding. Your agent uses `get_project_details` and `list_workflow_tasks` to read your actual board data before writing a single line of code. This keeps your implementation grounded in reality. You get accurate context because the AI interacts with your live workspace instead of relying on stale documentation.
Update tasks without leaving Cursor
Finish your work and close the loop immediately. Once your code is pushed, use `mark_task_as_complete` to update your board status without switching windows. Keep your metadata current by using `update_task_metadata` as you iterate. It saves time and keeps the rest of the team updated on your progress.
Search and track with Cursor
Need to find a specific requirement? Use `search_all_tasks` to find relevant tickets directly in your editor's chat window. Track your milestones by calling `list_project_milestones`. It gives you a clear view of your deadlines so you can prioritize your coding tasks effectively.
