…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Novu MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Novu to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Trigger complex notification workflows
Cascade can chain `trigger_event` or `trigger_broadcast` calls to handle messaging across multiple channels without you writing manual API handlers. It maps your notification logic to specific user actions. Once the trigger is set, you can use `create_workflow` to define the sequence of events. Cascade handles the heavy lifting, ensuring your messages hit the right endpoints while you focus on the core product logic.
Manage subscriber data in Windsurf
Keep your user notification settings in sync by using `create_subscriber` and `update_subscriber` tools. You can pull specific user details instantly using `get_subscriber` to debug delivery issues. When subscribers change their mind, `bulk_update_subscriber_preferences` ensures your system respects their choices immediately. It keeps your data clean without needing a separate database admin tool.
Organize message routing with topics
Use `create_topic` to group your users and `create_topic_subscriptions` to manage who gets what updates. This makes broadcasting specific alerts to segments much simpler than manual list management. If you need to verify who is receiving what, `list_topic_subscriptions` gives you an immediate look at your distribution list. It turns messy notification logic into a structured, searchable system.
