Cline builds code and logs projects
The Nozbe MCP server gives Cline the power to scaffold code in VS Code and document the project structure in Nozbe simultaneously. When you ask Cline to build a new feature, it creates the local files and runs `create_project` to establish the Nozbe tracking board. Cline then maps out the technical requirements into actionable Nozbe items using `create_task`. This keeps your real-world Nozbe progress perfectly aligned with your Cline codebase without forcing you to switch tabs.
Resolving tickets after passing tests
The Nozbe MCP server lets Cline manage your Nozbe ticketing queue based on actual VS Code test results. After writing and executing a test suite, Cline runs `list_tasks` to find the corresponding Nozbe ticket. If the tests pass, Cline executes `update_task` to close the Nozbe ticket and uses `list_comments` to verify no blocker comments remain. If a test fails, Cline leaves the Nozbe ticket open and continues debugging in VS Code.
Automated workspace cleanup via MCP
The Nozbe MCP server allows Cline to audit your active Nozbe boards and clean up VS Code workspace clutter. Cline calls `list_projects` to scan your Nozbe boards and matches them against your local Git branches. If Cline finds abandoned drafts or tasks, it uses `delete_task` to remove the Nozbe clutter. Cline also calls `get_task` to double-check Nozbe task descriptions before deleting anything from your workspace.
