Fetch date facts directly in VS Code Copilot chats
Running `get_date_fact` enables VS Code Copilot to fetch historical events for specific calendar days during your coding sessions. This tool gives your editor the ability to quickly verify date-related trivia without leaving the workspace. By configuring this shared MCP Server, your entire engineering team can access the same date facts. It eliminates the need for developers to search the web for calendar milestones.
Verify mathematical properties using this MCP Server
Your agent uses `get_math_fact` to retrieve mathematical properties of numbers for code comments or validation logic. This tool fetches clean, text-based math facts that Copilot can immediately parse and insert. The integration works natively inside your VS Code terminal and chat panels. You get reliable mathematical context without installing heavy external libraries.
Query historical years and trivia on demand
Copilot invokes `get_year_fact` and `get_trivia_fact` to fetch historical events and general number trivia during document generation. These tools provide your workspace with an instant source of engaging numerical context. Because the server runs in a secure sandbox, your requests resolve with minimal latency. Your team gets accurate historical data for any year or integer instantly.
