Connect Nylas MCP to Claude Desktop
Create your Vinkius account to connect Nylas to Claude Desktop and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Draft and send emails directly from Claude Desktop
This MCP Server lets your local Claude Desktop instance search your entire inbox using `list_messages` to find specific threads across Gmail and Outlook. Stop jumping between your browser tabs just to reply to a Nylas communication thread inside Claude Desktop. When you need to reply to a Nylas thread, your Claude Desktop agent drafts the response and fires it off using `send_message`. You can also save it to your drafts folder with `list_drafts` to review the layout inside Claude Desktop before sending.
Manage cross-provider calendars inside your chat
Your Claude Desktop agent can pull your active schedules with `list_calendars` and search for open slots to coordinate meetings across different corporate calendars linked via Nylas. It makes scheduling across multiple organizations painless. Once you agree on a slot, the Claude Desktop agent runs `create_event` to write directly to your Nylas-connected calendar, or uses `delete_event` to clear out cancellations. It handles the API differences behind the scenes so you do not have to write timezone code.
Sync contacts and organize folders on the fly
Claude Desktop can pull your current directory with `list_contacts` and instantly add new leads to your Nylas address book during your conversation. This stops you from losing contact details during busy workdays. You can also keep your inbox organized by running `list_folders` to map out your current Nylas email directory structure inside Claude Desktop. Your agent uses these live directories to sort incoming mail and keep your workspace clean.
