Connect Nylas MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Nylas to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build and test email features in Cursor with live data
This MCP Server lets your Cursor agent query your real Nylas inbox using `list_messages` to see exactly how headers and body structures look inside your editor. It beats writing fake mock payloads every single time. You can test your outbound mailing logic directly from the Cursor chat by prompting the editor to run `send_message` or inspect your queued Nylas items with `list_drafts`. It gives you a live sandbox right inside your coding workspace.
Generate calendar integrations using active schedules
Cursor uses `list_calendars` to identify active Nylas schedules and pulls actual event payloads with `list_events` to help you write accurate parsing code. This eliminates errors caused by timezone offsets and provider quirks. If your Cursor code needs to schedule or modify appointments, you can verify the behavior by letting the editor execute `create_event` or `delete_event` on your Nylas accounts. You will see the changes instantly without opening your browser.
Debug address book and folder structures in real time
The Cursor agent calls `list_contacts` to fetch real Nylas records, helping you design accurate database schemas for your application. It speeds up schema design for custom address book integrations. You can also inspect how your Nylas mail folders are organized using `list_folders` or test contact creation with `create_contact` inside the Cursor environment. Having this live context in your editor means you write working code on the first try.
