Key Capabilities
Validate Shipping Addresses
Before you write the label-buying logic, you need a clean address. The `create_and_validate_address` tool handles this upfront validation for your code. It ensures all necessary fields are present and formatted correctly. This is crucial in Cursor's agent mode because it prevents runtime errors later on—your AI client knows the data is good to go.
Get Real-Time Shipping Rates
Need a rate comparison right inside your script? Call `create_shipment_get_rates`. This tool fetches live cost data, letting you embed variable rates into the code you're writing. You see the results immediately, not mock stubs. Your agent can use this response to decide which carrier's API call to execute next, making your coding smarter.
Purchase and Generate Labels
To finish a transaction in your code, you'll run `purchase_shipping_label`. This tool simulates the full workflow: taking validated inputs, handling payment details, and returning the label data object. It makes the API response feel real. It's how you write complete, functioning shipping pipelines without leaving Cursor.
