Inventory and Upload Video Assets

Connect via `claude mcp add` and run the `list_videos` tool. This pulls a clean list of all assets, giving you immediate visibility into your current video library. If you need to update content, you can pipe the output of an upload command directly from the terminal using the `upload_video` function. It's designed for headless execution.

Extract Performance Metrics

Run a script that calls `get_video_analytics`. This outputs structured data—metrics, not just graphs—that you can pipe into another CLI tool for further processing. It lets the user easily audit funnel performance by checking usage patterns against defined metrics. No GUI needed, just raw numbers.

Manage Project Structures

Use `list_interactive_projects` to list every project definition in Tolstoy. You can script this output to check for consistency across multiple funnels. Need to know where things live? The `list_folders` tool provides a clean directory structure map, which is essential when running maintenance scripts or CI/CD jobs.

Common questions about Tolstoy MCP in Claude Code

You treat the entire process like a pipeline. First, you run `list_interactive_projects` to see what exists, then use the metrics from `get_video_analytics`, and finally pipe that data into a reporting script.
Yes. You can run an upload job using `upload_video` directly in your terminal session. This is perfect for automated nightly syncs or asset ingestion pipelines.
Just execute a script that calls `list_webhooks`. The output tells you exactly which webhooks are configured, letting you verify system connectivity from the command line.
No. Once you configure the connection via `claude mcp add`, it handles authentication using a single endpoint token. The terminal client manages all credentials internally.
This server deals with video asset manifests, performance metrics (analytics), folder paths, project identifiers, and webhook configuration objects. It's the backbone data for your shoppable funnels.
