How to Use the Tolstoy MCP in Windsurf
Build interactive e-commerce funnels and shoppable video experiences using Windsurf's autonomous agent.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Tolstoy MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Tolstoy to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Manage Video Assets
The `list_videos` tool lets your AI client check every Tolstoy video you have stored. You can get a full manifest of all available videos, making sure the assets are ready for deployment. The `upload_video` function handles getting new content into the system. Just feed it a file and let Windsurf manage the upload process so your funnels never run dry.
Check Performance Metrics
Need to know if a funnel is working? Use `get_video_analytics` to pull performance metrics. This shows you exactly how visitors are interacting with specific parts of the shoppable video path. It's direct data. You see which product shots get the most clicks and where users tend to drop off, letting you tweak the funnel right away.
Connect External Systems
The `list_webhooks` tool helps you map out what's already connected. You see all configured webhooks for Tolstoy, so you know which systems will fire when an event happens. Want to automate something? The `list_interactive_projects` tool lets your agent view existing project structures, making it easy to plan the next steps for a new shoppable funnel.
