Connect Tower MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Tower to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automating task creation and updates.
Instead of manually updating status fields, you tell Cline what needs to change. It uses `create_task` when a new item is needed or `update_task` if the scope shifted. You get code that reflects the current state. Cline treats this like writing local API calls. If it finds an existing task ID using `list_tasks`, it writes the logic to modify it, staging the change for review.
Retrieving project scope and members.
Need a list of all projects or who's on which team? Cline runs `list_projects` and `list_members`. It then writes Python functions that consume this data, allowing you to process the results directly in your workspace. It’s ideal for generating reports. You can write code that iterates through every project using the returned list of IDs.
Handling deep project context.
You need a comprehensive view for an endpoint? Tell Cline to get `get_project` details, and it writes the required fetching logic. Then, you can programmatically pull related data like discussions using `list_discussions`. This lets you write scripts that combine task status (`get_task_details`) with conversation logs into one cohesive output file.
