Connect Tower MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Tower to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Gathering full team visibility.
Need a headcount or who owns the documentation? Set your goal, and Windsurf figures out the steps. It first runs `list_members` to get names, then checks `list_teams` for departmental context. It won't stop there. If you ask about team structure, it can cross-reference that data with available projects using `list_projects`, giving you a complete organizational overview without manual prompting.
Managing project scope and tasks.
Don't manually check task statuses across multiple areas. Give Windsurf a goal like 'Get me the status of Feature X.' It uses `list_projects` to narrow down the area, then runs `list_tasks` and `get_task_details` on those projects. You can even tell it to update something. If a task needs adjusting, Windsurf handles that with `update_task`, making sure your goal is met from start to finish.
Tracking discussions and documents.
You need context on a specific initiative's history? Tell Windsurf the project name. It first uses `list_doc_folders` to map where files live, and then it pulls the full discussion thread using `list_discussions`. This means you get the 'why' behind the tasks. You can see what was talked about in the discussions before figuring out if a new task needs creating via `create_task`.
