Connect Treblle MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Treblle to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Write Tests Using MCP Server
Use `ingest_api_data` to capture live traffic, then write automated tests that rely on documented request/response patterns. Cline executes the full cycle: it reads the API data captured by Treblle and writes the necessary component code or test file for you. This means if your dashboard needs to confirm a specific response payload, Cline can ingest that data using `ingest_api_data` through the MCP Server and use it as source material.
Build Dashboards with API Data
Need a new component that visualizes API metrics? Tell Cline to build it. It will automatically call tools like `ingest_api_data` to gather the necessary request and response data, import it, and write out the finished code structure for your dashboard. It's end-to-end execution. You tell it 'Build this,' and the MCP Server handles gathering all the observability details.
Track API Calls in Cline
The `ingest_api_data` tool monitors, documents, and analyzes your API traffic directly within the development environment. By running it through Treblle, you get immediate visibility into what's flowing across your endpoints. This is especially useful for local debugging; Cline runs the process and uses the MCP Server to ensure all required data is captured, masking sensitive fields like SSNs before it ever hits disk.
