Automate API Monitoring in Windsurf
The `ingest_api_data` tool monitors, documents, and analyzes your API traffic in real time. Cascade reads the necessary context—like which endpoints need checking—and automatically pipes request/response data into Treblle for immediate observability. This means you set a goal like 'Find out what's wrong with user login calls.' Windsurf doesn't just tell you to check; it runs `ingest_api_data`, masks sensitive fields, and shows the failure points immediately.
Trace Data Flow Through MCP Server
Need visibility into complex data exchanges? Use `ingest_api_data` to ingest request and response data directly into Treblle. Cascade tracks every step of your API calls, documenting the payload size and status codes without you having to manually write monitoring scripts. It handles the heavy lifting. You just define the scope, and Windsurf uses its autonomous agent to ensure all necessary metadata gets captured by the MCP Server.
Analyze API Data for Testing in Windsurf
You can use `ingest_api_data` to capture traffic data specifically for QA. By ingesting both request and response payloads, you get a perfect record of what the system sees when it fails or succeeds. This built-in MCP Server is great because it automatically masks sensitive fields like passwords and CCs before sending them to Treblle. You're reviewing the data without compromising security.
