Connect Trello MCP to LangChain
Create your Vinkius account to connect Trello to LangChain and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automating Board Overviews
Need a complete picture of a board? The `list_board_cards` tool pulls all cards from every list on a specific Trello board. This lets your agent build a full summary without needing multiple manual lookups. You can also get the high-level context with `get_board`, which provides details for any target board ID, giving you structure before diving into card specifics.
Managing Card Content
`update_card` lets your agent modify existing Trello cards directly. You can change descriptions or move them between lists when a project stage changes. If the data needs to be archived, remember that `delete_card` exists, but updating it with `closed=true` is usually better.
Tracking Collaboration
When someone hits a roadblock, your agent can add context using `add_comment`. This tool places comments in the card's activity feed and automatically alerts watchers. You also get team structure details with `list_members`, showing who is on the board.
