Connect Twitch MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Twitch to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject Live Streaming Data into Code
Need to build a script that tracks streaming activity? Agent mode lets the AI call `get_streams` and injects the resulting data structure directly into your code block. You're writing working code, not just stubs. This means if you write a function needing current Twitch information, it uses real API responses from tools like `get_top_games`. It’s live context without leaving your editor.
Model User and Channel Data in Code
When modeling user behavior, you can use the data returned by the MCP Server. For instance, if you need to map out a user's interests, you call `get_followed_channels` and write code that processes the resulting channel list. This makes your application robust because it handles real Twitch metrics—like pulling follower counts using `get_followers`—not fake JSON.
Build Search Logic with Twitch Context
Writing a search feature? The AI can call `search_channels` and generate code that iterates over the results. This is perfect for building directory features in your project. Similarly, if you're coding a profile viewer, calling `get_channel_info` provides the necessary data fields to correctly populate your schema.
