Facilitate debate over form performance using MCP Server.

Use `get_form_insights` to pull analytics. You can set up multiple agents—say, a 'Performance Agent' and a 'Risk Agent'—to argue about the best course of action based on these metrics. The final consensus decision comes from their negotiation, not just a single tool call.

Coordinate asset discovery across Typeform workspaces.

Need to find all relevant forms? Have one agent use `list_workspaces` and another use `list_forms`. They debate which list is most accurate or if they should combine the results. The Multi-agent setup forces a consensus on the complete inventory of assets.

Deliberate over form structure using AutoGen.

Agents can use `get_form_details` to inspect the exact structure. One agent might argue that a field is too complex, while another argues it's necessary for data completeness. The outcome isn't just the details; it's the agreed-upon next step based on conflicting requirements.

Setup guide

Set up Typeform MCP in AutoGen

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • autogen-ext[mcp] package
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install AutoGen with MCP

    Run pip install "autogen-ext[mcp]" autogen-agentchat. The MCP extension includes mcp_server_tools for stateless tool access.

  2. 2

    Fetch tools from the MCP

    Call mcp_server_tools(SseServerParams(url=...)) with your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Run your agent

    Pass the tools to AssistantAgent and call agent.run(). The agent invokes Typeform tools and returns structured results.

agent.py
from autogen_ext.tools.mcp import SseServerParams, mcp_server_tools
from autogen_agentchat.agents import AssistantAgent
from autogen_ext.models.openai import OpenAIChatCompletionClient

server_params = SseServerParams(
    url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
)

tools = await mcp_server_tools(server_params)

agent = AssistantAgent(
    name="Typeform_assistant",
    model_client=OpenAIChatCompletionClient(model="gpt-4o"),
    tools=tools,
)

result = await agent.run("List recent Typeform data")
print(result.messages[-1].content)

Common questions about Typeform MCP in AutoGen

The MCP Server gives AutoGen tools. Multiple agents then use these tools to debate and reach a decision about the form's status, rather than just executing one function.
Yes. You give the `list_forms` tool to your agents. They can then debate the best way to interpret or categorize that resulting list of assets.
Absolutely. Agents can call `get_form_responses`. One agent might analyze the data for errors while another summarizes key trends, leading to a consensus report.
Agents use `get_form_details` as input. They then discuss whether that structure is optimal or if modifications are required before moving forward.
Since the process involves multiple agents discussing raw form submission records, you must ensure all involved parties agree on how to handle and redact user response data within the debate cycle.
