Connect Unanet MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Unanet to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Project Data Structures via MCP Server
You can use the `projects` tool to get a list of current contracts and project details. Cline takes that raw JSON output, and you can write components that display it immediately. You don't just read the data; you build something with it. Want to visualize all projects for Q4? Run the query using the MCP Server, then use the result set as a prop in your React component. Cline handles the API integration details.
Building Reports Using User and Time Data
Need a dashboard that shows utilization rates? You can write code that calls `users` to get the roster, then pipes those IDs into `timesheets`. This creates a complete data flow right inside your development environment. Cline writes the necessary fetching logic for you. It generates the boilerplate and even writes unit tests for the function that aggregates timecard data.
Handling Expenses and User Profiles
The `expenses` tool is perfect for generating backend endpoints. You can write a small service that accepts a user ID, calls the MCP Server to get expenses, and then formats it into an internal database record. Cline handles staging and committing this new API endpoint. It ensures your code works against the live Unanet data structure before you even run `git commit`.
