Connect UniCourt MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect UniCourt to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Import or retrieve case records.
Need a specific case record in your function? Use `get_case` to pull details for any given case ID. If you're starting from scratch, the `import_pacer_case` tool lets you bring in data from PACER that isn't already indexed by UniCourt. You can also initiate a high-priority load using `import_case` when you know exactly what records your script needs to process right away.
Query normalized legal entities.
Instead of parsing raw text for names, just query the structure. Use functions like `search_norm_attorney`, `search_norm_judge`, or `search_norm_law_firm` to get structured data objects. Your code can then use these objects directly without messy string manipulation. This level of normalization makes writing reliable legal code much simpler.
Manage credentials and tracking.
When your application needs live access, don't hardcode tokens. Use `get_norm_law_firm` to verify a firm's status, or schedule recurring refreshes with `track_norm_law_firm`. The server also keeps track of your PACER credentials via `get_pacer_credential`, so you always know if the connection is good. This approach makes your codebase robust and easier to maintain.
