Connect USGS Earthquakes MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect USGS Earthquakes to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate Counts with Cline
The `count_earthquakes` tool lets you programmatically determine the total number of quakes matching specific criteria. You can build a test case that verifies data volume for any given region. Cline takes this count and writes the necessary component or script to display it, so you don't have to write the plumbing.
Build Reports on Major Earthquakes with Cline
Need a dashboard of recent activity? Use `get_significant_30_days`. Cline fetches this global data and then writes the full component, handling the API import and displaying the results in a clean diff for you to review. No hand-holding required; it just builds the visualization from the raw seismic feed.
Filter Data with MCP Server
The `query_earthquakes` tool lets you define precise searches using start/end times, minimum magnitudes, and geographic boundaries. Cline then takes this filtered data set and writes the parsing logic into your codebase. It handles up to 20,000 events per query, perfect for populating a large dataset view.
