Connect Vald MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Vald to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject Live Context into Code
When you run a nearest neighbor search using `search_vectors`, the AI client pulls real results from your Vald index. This means the code generated isn't based on mock data; it uses live, retrieved context. This makes debugging and writing API handlers way easier because the code reflects actual database knowledge pulled straight into your editor.
Maintain Code Context Data
Use `insert_vector` when you need to programmatically add a new piece of domain knowledge that should inform your code. You simply provide a unique ID and the vector array, making sure the AI has the latest context. If old patterns are breaking or deprecated, use `delete_vector` to clean up stale data from the Vald index, keeping your generated code accurate.
Check Data State for Team Sync
Before committing a feature, you can check system health using `get_engine_info`. This confirms that the Vald MCP Server is operational and ready for coding tasks. Furthermore, if your code relies on specific data points, calling `get_vector_details` helps confirm what the raw vector structure looks like before writing any API calls.
