Build components with validated VAT data.
Use the `validate_vat_number` tool to check company identifiers before writing code that displays them. This ensures your dashboard never shows a bad or unverified number. Cline uses this data live: you tell it, 'build a component for tax display.' It writes the JSX/TSX file and imports the necessary logic using the VATNode API.
Automate country-specific rate calculations.
When building billing logic, the `get_country_vat_rates` tool pulls accurate tax data for a given region. Cline uses this data to write unit tests that confirm your calculation works correctly. It handles the whole cycle: get rates via API, write the function using those rates, and then generate the test file that proves it's right.
Write scripts to audit global tax compliance.
The `list_all_vat_rates` tool gives you a full JSON dump of global VAT rules. Cline can use this dataset to write comparison logic, identifying any country that might be missing rate definitions. This is perfect for setting up maintenance scripts. Tell it to audit the data source; it writes and stages the code necessary to run the check.
