How to Use the Vercel MCP in Cursor
Write code that interacts with Vercel deployments directly inside Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Vercel MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Vercel to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Use the MCP Server to check Vercel deployment status
You're writing a script that needs to confirm if a specific build passed tests. Use `get_vercel_deployment_info` and pass the ID, and the live response data gets injected right into your code block. Need to see what deployments happened recently? The agent runs `list_vercel_deployments`, giving you immediate context without leaving Cursor.
Manage Vercel resources by listing projects or teams
If you're writing a script that needs to iterate over multiple services, start by calling `list_vercel_projects`. This gives your code the full array of project IDs. Similarly, use `list_vercel_teams` if your service relies on team-specific access control. The data flows straight into your function.
Add or retrieve Vercel environment variables in code
You just realized you're missing a production API key for a specific project. Use `add_vercel_environment_variable` to set it, and the tool output populates your variable declaration. Don't forget to check existing secrets first by running `list_vercel_project_env_vars`. This prevents overwriting something important.
