Vercel Project Management in Cursor

Start by creating a new site using `create_project` by providing both a name and the framework slug. Need to clean up? You can permanently remove projects with `delete_project`, but remember that action is final.

Check Vercel Status in Cursor

Want details on a specific deployment run? Call `get_deployment_details` for the full execution history. To see what projects exist, just use `list_projects`. This gives you immediate context without leaving your editor.

Control Vercel Builds with Cursor

You can trigger new builds by calling `trigger_github_deployment`, specifying the project and Git ref. For domain mapping, use `list_project_aliases` to see all subdomain routes active on your projects.

Setup guide

Set up Vercel MCP in Cursor

Prerequisites

  • Cursor installed (macOS, Windows, or Linux)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Open MCP Settings

Go to Cursor Settings → MCP or open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P / Ctrl+Shift+P) and search for "MCP: Add Server".

  2. 2

    Add the Vercel MCP

Cursor will create or open .cursor/mcp.json in your project root. Paste the JSON snippet on the right. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Enable Agent mode

Open Composer (Cmd+I / Ctrl+I) and switch to Agent mode using the dropdown at the top. MCP tools are only available in Agent mode.

  4. 4

    Verify the connection

Ask Cursor something like "List my recent Vercel transactions." If the MCP tools are loaded correctly, Cursor will call the Vercel tools automatically. You can also check Settings → MCP for a green status indicator.
