Programmatic Voice Call Initiation

You can start an AI-powered call directly within a shell script using the `create_call` tool. Simply pass the prompt, phone number, and locale in the JSON body for headless execution. This makes it perfect for background jobs or scheduled tasks that require immediate external communication.

Templated Communication Workflows

The `create_call_from_template` tool allows you to manage complex call sequences using predefined scripts. You reference a template, and Claude Code executes the necessary steps. Always check available structures with `list_templates` before deploying this in production.

Monitoring Call Status and History

To verify pipeline success, use `get_call_status` to poll the live status of a call. If you need an audit trail, `list_calls` retrieves all historical AI communication records. These tools ensure your CI/CD process knows exactly when and how the external action completed.

Common questions about Vibrato MCP in Claude Code

You incorporate the tool call logic in your script, ensuring the JSON body contains the prompt, phone number, and locale. The CLI client handles the execution entirely headless.
The server touches call records and status information. This includes tracking which template was used and the final outcome of the phone interaction.
Use `list_calls`. It pulls up all past records, letting you verify that your cron job ran correctly and completed its task.
You use `get_call_status`. This function allows your script to pause until the necessary communication step is complete before proceeding to the next command.
Yes, when calling `create_call`, you must explicitly pass the locale in the JSON body. This directs the AI agent to use the correct regional dialect.
