Test Payment Logic with the MCP Server
Need to build a test harness around payment validation? You can use `simulate_payment` directly inside your code. Cline executes this tool call, returning the success or failure status for a given payment method. This is ideal for generating integration tests in your component library. Your agent writes a test function that calls the MCP Server's simulation endpoint and asserts the resulting data structure.
Build Client Profile Fetchers with Cline
You can write robust functions using `get_client_profile`. The tool pulls all necessary user details, which you then feed directly into a component's props. It handles the complex API call structure for you. If that data is incomplete—say, they don’t have an address—you immediately follow up in your code by calling `create_address` and using the resulting ID to update the record.
Calculate Cart Totals with Cline
To calculate final cart totals for a dashboard, you start with `get_orderform`. This gives you the initial line items. Then, depending on your logic, you call `add_coupon` to show how discounts affect the grand total. Cline lets you write helper functions that accept the output of these tools and perform complex calculations in memory—all without leaving your IDE.
