Automate Member Lifecycle in WorkAdventure MCP Server

This tool set lets you manage user records via the command line. To add a new person to your virtual office, pipe the necessary data through `create_member`. Conversely, if a team member leaves, use `delete_member` to cleanly remove them from the system's registry.

Retrieve and Process World State via Claude Code

Scripting requires knowing the current state. You can run `get_world_info` to pull all global parameters for your virtual world. This gives you a baseline metric for any background job. Need more specific location data? Use `list_rooms` and then target individual rooms with `list_members`.

Programmatically Handle Room Variables with Claude Code

Scripting logic often depends on room variables. To read these, execute `get_room_variables`. This command outputs the key-value pairs for any given room. If a variable needs to change as part of a pipeline, you can write an update script using `update_room_variable`.

Common questions about WorkAdventure MCP in Claude Code

Start by running `list_maps`. This command quickly outputs all available map IDs, confirming the structural integrity of your virtual environment before running any updates.
You'll use a combination. First, `list_members` gets you the ID list, and then you can pipe those IDs to functions like `get_member_details` for bulk data extraction.
The server touches member and map metadata. Always verify access using `get_map_details` to ensure only necessary location information is exposed in logs.
Yes, you can use `list_rooms`. This function returns a reliable list of all currently open and operational spaces for your automation scripts to target.
The process is simple: get the current data with `get_room_variables`, then use that output as input for an `update_room_variable` command.
