How to Use the Wrike MCP in Windsurf
Automate Wrike reporting and project management using Windsurf's autonomous agent.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Wrike MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Wrike to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Windsurf: Mapping your Wrike structure
You can see every available Wrike space by calling `list_wrike_spaces`. This tells Cascade where to start looking for data. Next, run `list_wrike_folders` to grab a list of all projects and folders. Windsurf chains these two calls together so you immediately know the entire scope of your workspace.
Get detailed Wrike task information
Need specifics on a single item? The `get_task_details` tool pulls all the data for one specific Wrike task. You get everything—status, assignee, due date—in one go. This lets your agent build out full reports; it doesn't just see the title, it sees the whole picture.
Finding contacts in the MCP Server
Start by running `list_wrike_contacts` to pull a directory of every user in your Wrike setup. This is key for reports that need manager sign-offs. From there, if you know which projects they work on, you can cross-reference their IDs with the results from `list_wrike_projects`.
