Pipe Audio Data into Pipelines with Claude Code

Use `claude mcp add` to connect the MCP Server to your shell scripts. You can write a pipeline that first runs `search_recordings` and pipes the JSON output directly to another tool or script. This is perfect for automated build jobs where you need data validation before deployment.

Automate Data Collection using MCP Server

If you're running a cron job, don't worry about managing API keys in the script. Connect the Xeno-canto server to your execution environment so `search_recordings` runs headless. It executes reliably via standard input/output (stdio), making it perfect for Docker containers.

Scripting Bird Sound Searches with Claude Code

Write a shell script that needs to check bird recordings by country and genus. Instead of hardcoding the logic, you reference the MCP Server's tool. The command line handles the connection securely, keeping your environment clean and focused on execution.
