Automate CRUD operations with Yida MCP Server.

The `create_record` tool lets you programmatically build new form records. You can write code that calls this function, passing in the necessary data payload, and it gets saved to Yida. Need an update? Use `update_record`. Write a small script that checks if a record exists first using `get_record_details`, then writes back the corrected values.

Develop against Yida's application structure.

Before writing any data fetching logic, use `list_forms` to get all available form names. This helps your codebase stay accurate when calling `get_form_schema` for the correct field definitions. Cline can also list workflows (`list_workflows`) and users (`list_users`), letting you build components that manage these entities directly.

Write scripts to track and modify data instances.

You can write a script that pulls the entire history of an instance using `get_instance_timeline`. This is perfect for debugging or building audit logs. If you only have IDs, use `list_data_ids` to fetch them. Then loop through those IDs and call `get_record_details` on each one to build a comprehensive data object.

Common questions about Yida MCP in Cline

You write a function that calls `create_record`. You pass the required JSON payload, which you first validated by calling `get_form_schema` to ensure all fields are present.
Yes. Just call the `list_users` tool within your code block. It gives you a JSON array of users you can then process—maybe checking their status or roles.
First, fetch the current data using `get_record_details`. This gives you a baseline. Then, write your logic and use `update_record` only sending the fields that actually changed.
Use the simple `list_forms` function. It’s a quick call that returns every form name, letting you map out your data model without needing manual verification.
This server handles structured form records and user account details. Your code interacts with the content pulled via `get_record_details` and the identity information from `list_users`.
