Generate code from project lists.

Need to reference an active sprint? Let the agent run `list_sprints` and grab all the iteration names for a specific Yodiz project. You can then inject those real values directly into your function calls. Or, if you need to know which major feature corresponds to a set of bugs, use `list_epics`. The AI generates code using live data, not just mock strings.

Build user-aware features.

If your code needs to reference specific users in the Yodiz workspace, let the agent run `list_users`. It outputs a list of registered IDs that you can immediately use in your application's logic. For deep dives into issues, running `list_bugs` provides an array of live bug records. This allows you to write code that handles real-world issue tracking data.

Handle full project scope.

Don't rely on assumptions about your product structure. Use `list_projects` to get every single agile project ID in the Yodiz account. This list becomes a variable you can loop through. Need to map out features? The agent uses `list_user_stories` (after getting the project ID) to give you the full, current scope of user stories for coding.

Setup guide

Set up Yodiz MCP in Cursor

Prerequisites

  • Cursor installed (macOS, Windows, or Linux)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

  3. 3

    Enable Agent mode

Open Composer (Cmd+I / Ctrl+I) and switch to Agent mode using the dropdown at the top. MCP tools are only available in Agent mode.

  4. 4
