Visualize all team projects.

Every developer gets the same view. The agent uses `list_projects` to pull a list of every agile project in Yodiz, automatically making it available across the whole team. Need to filter by feature level? Running `list_epics` allows your teammates to see all high-level features that need development attention.

Get issue and user story context.

You can automatically query the status of bugs using `list_bugs`. The result is structured data, letting you write code that checks for open issues before committing. Team members can also run `list_user_stories` (with a project ID) to ensure their feature implementation aligns with the current scope.

Track development timelines and users.

To manage sprints, developers use `list_sprints`, which fetches all iteration data for a specific Yodiz project. This keeps everyone on the same timeline. If your code needs to reference who owns a task, running `list_users` provides the full roster of registered users in the Yodiz workspace.

Setup guide

Set up Yodiz MCP in VS Code Copilot

Prerequisites

  • VS Code 1.99 or later with GitHub Copilot extension
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Open MCP configuration

Open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P / Ctrl+Shift+P) and run "MCP: Add Server". Select HTTP (Streamable) as the server type. VS Code will create .vscode/mcp.json in your workspace.

  2. 2

    Add the Yodiz MCP

Paste the JSON snippet shown on the right into your .vscode/mcp.json. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Switch to Agent mode

Open Copilot Chat (Cmd+Shift+I / Ctrl+Shift+I) and switch to Agent mode using the dropdown. MCP tools are only available in Agent mode — they do not appear in Edit or Ask modes.

  4. 4

    Verify the connection

In the Copilot Chat input, type # to list available tools. You should see the Yodiz tools listed. Try asking: "List my recent Yodiz transactions" and Copilot will invoke them automatically.
