Execute External Workflows with the MCP Server
The `trigger_zapier_webhook` tool allows Cline to send a JSON payload directly to Zapier. You can use this when your code needs to signal an external monitoring system that a build has finished. When you tell Cline to run a task, it can execute the necessary steps and then hand off the completion status via the MCP Server.
Integrate Code Results into Zapier Webhook Trigger
Cline needs data from a running process—maybe a test result or a user ID. It uses this server to send that structured information as a JSON payload to an external system. This lets you chain your coding task with real-world actions, like updating records in a CRM after deployment.
Handling Structured Payload for Task Completion
The tool requires the full data set as a JSON string. This is how Cline ensures that every variable—like commit hashes or component names—gets packaged and sent correctly. It guarantees clean, predictable input to the receiving Zapier automation.
