Retrieve data using the MCP Server.
Need to find out what's already there? The `get_notebook` tool pulls down all the details for a specific notebook. Likewise, you can use `get_notecard` to grab the full text and metadata of one note. This gives Cline the foundational data it needs before writing any code or building components based on Zoho Notebook content.
Modify notecards in your project with Cline.
If you find a card that's wrong, `update_notecard` lets you fix it directly. You can also generate new notes using `create_notecard`. These tools handle the entire lifecycle of a note within Zoho Notebook. Cline uses this to ensure the data sources for your dashboard are always accurate and current.
Advanced search capabilities in Zoho Notebook.
Don't want to scroll through hundreds of cards? Use `search_notecards`. You just give it a notebook ID, and the server pulls back only the notes matching your query. It's way better than manual browsing. This is crucial for Cline because you need targeted data—you don't want boilerplate code based on irrelevant notes.
