List all Zoho Notebooks with the MCP Server.
Need to know what notebooks you have? The `list_notebooks` tool returns every notebook ID. You get these IDs first, because they are required before fetching any notecard details. This is key for multi-step processes. Before reading or writing anything, Windsurf uses this list function to map out the structure of your Zoho Notebook data.
Build and modify note content with Windsurf.
You can create a whole new notebook using `create_notebook`. If you're just adding notes, use `create_notecard` to generate the specific card. Don't forget that `update_notecard` lets you change existing info without starting over. This means Windsurf handles both initial capture and later refinement of your thoughts within Zoho Notebook.
Clean up old data using the MCP Server.
Sometimes you just need to delete stuff. The `delete_notebook` tool lets you remove entire notebooks, while `delete_notecard` handles individual notes. It's good for keeping things clean. If a project is done or the notes are obsolete, Windsurf uses these tools to purge them from Zoho Notebook completely.
