Generate Signed Documents in Cline
Need a signature request built from scratch? The `create_request_from_template` tool lets you initiate the process by feeding it a template ID. You provide the inputs, and Cline executes the API call to set up the signing flow. It's useful for building internal tools that need to programmatically start documents. After creation, you can follow up with `submit_sign_request` to get the ball rolling.
List and Manage Templates via Zoho Sign
Start by seeing what's available using `list_sign_templates`. This command gives you a structured list of all reusable document templates in your account, so you know which one to reference. Want to see if certain file types are supported? Run `list_supported_document_types` first. It tells you whether PDF or DOCX formats will work with the signing process.
Track Signature History with Zoho Sign MCP Server
To check on a specific document, use `get_sign_request_details`. This tool retrieves all necessary data about one signature request—the recipients, the due dates, and the current status. If you need to know what files are generally accepted for signing, run `list_supported_file_extensions`. It gives you a reliable list of file types that Zoho Sign accepts.
