  How do I connect Refiner to my AI client?

  You subscribe to the MCP on Vinkius and enter your Refiner API key. Once connected, you can use it in any compatible client like Claude or Cursor.

  Can I trigger surveys automatically?

  Yes. You can use the track event capability to log user actions, which can then trigger micro-surveys you have configured in Refiner.

  What clients are compatible with this MCP?

  This MCP works with any client that supports the Model Context Protocol, including Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code.

  Do I need to manage my own API hosting?

  No. Vinkius hosts the MCP and manages the credentials for you, so it is ready to use immediately after you connect.

  Can I update user information through the AI?

  Yes. You can use the identify user capability to update technical traits for specific contacts.

  Can I check the responses for a specific survey via AI?

  Yes! Use the list_refiner_responses capability and provide the Survey UUID. Your agent will retrieve the latest submissions, which you can then ask the AI to summarize or filter by date.

  How do I identify a user and add custom traits using the agent?

  Use the identify_refiner_user action. Provide the User ID or Email and a JSON string of traits (e.g., '{"plan":"pro"}'). This helps you target surveys based on specific user metadata.

  Is it possible to track a custom event to trigger a survey via AI?

  Absolutely. Use the track_refiner_event capability. Provide the event name and the user's ID/Email. When this event is logged, Refiner will trigger any surveys you have configured for that specific action.
