Key Capabilities
Generate PDFs directly from Cline workspace tasks
Cline triggers `convert_html_to_pdf` to turn your local template files into PDFs without leaving VS Code. The autonomous agent writes the HTML structure, runs the Gotenberg tool, and saves the file. To handle external assets, Cline passes live endpoints to `convert_url_to_pdf` for rendering. Verification scripts are then generated automatically by Cline to ensure the output file exists.
Automated document assembly and attachment injection
Gotenberg merges multiple files into a single document using `merge_pdfs` when Cline processes your assembly tasks. The Cline agent manages the file array and executes the merge in your workspace. You can also inject extra resources using `embed_pdf_attachments` to bundle source files within Cline. Cline automates this during build steps to keep your documentation packaged together.
Capture screenshots of live URLs and layouts
This MCP Server uses `screenshot_url` to capture raw image files of active web pages during Cline test runs. The Cline agent saves the PNG directly to your project directory. If you are editing local styles, Cline runs `screenshot_html` to check the layout. You can easily inspect CSS print media styles within VS Code without running a manual browser instance.
