Key Capabilities
Cline executes database operations
Cline doesn't just suggest queries; it executes them. By running `query_vectors` directly, the agent retrieves live embeddings to debug your search implementation. It treats your database as a first-class citizen. You tell Cline to fix a search bug, and it uses `describe_index` to inspect your configuration before making a single change.
End-to-end index maintenance
You can task Cline with routine maintenance like clearing old records. The agent uses `list_indexes` to audit your environment and `delete_vectors` to purge outdated entries. Safety is built in. Cline reports the status of every operation, so you always know exactly which vectors were removed from your Pinecone index.
Real-time stats for Cline
Cline monitors your database health during the development process. It calls `get_index_stats` to verify that your vector counts match your application expectations. This visibility helps Cline catch issues early. If the index stats look off, the agent investigates the collection structure using `list_collections` to find the root cause.
