Key Capabilities
Map Plecto Dashboards via MCP Server
Cascade uses `list_kpi_dashboards` and `list_widgets` to read your entire Plecto layout before writing a single line of code. It scans your existing setup to understand exactly how your sales or engineering metrics are structured on the screen. You don't have to look up widget IDs manually. Windsurf grabs the layout, checks the underlying data sources with `list_data_sources`, and immediately knows where to route new incoming metrics.
Push Registrations Autonomously
Windsurf triggers `create_data_registration` to push new events directly into your Plecto account. If you just closed a PR or merged a feature, Cascade can instantly log that as a KPI hit for your engineering team. It handles the necessary lookups first. By running `list_account_employees` and `list_organizational_teams`, the agent finds the exact user ID to credit the metric to, ensuring your leaderboards update without manual entry.
Audit KPIs with Windsurf
Your agent pulls calculation logic straight from the API using `list_formulas` and `get_dashboard`. This means Cascade can debug why a specific metric looks wrong on the screen by comparing the local code logic against the actual Plecto formula. Fixing broken metrics takes seconds instead of hours. Windsurf cross-references the formula with recent entries from `list_data_registrations` to spot anomalies and proposes the fix right in your workspace.
