Key Capabilities
Standardize WhatsApp integrations with this MCP Server
The `trigger_journey_event` tool integrates with your team's shared repository configuration to fire webhook-based marketing journeys. Committing this MCP setup to your repository ensures every developer uses the same message triggers. Your team avoids manual testing. Copilot handles the payload structure and calls the webhook directly during development cycles.
Deploy transactional templates with confidence
The `send_template` tool dispatches pre-approved WhatsApp templates for high-priority notifications. If you need to handle real-time customer replies, use `send_session_message` to send free-form text. Copilot helps you write the schema validation for these messages. This prevents broken templates and ensures high deliverability across customer regions.
Monitor messaging performance from the terminal
The `fetch_campaign_stats` tool pulls delivery and read rates directly into your workspace. Since this API is scheduled to sunset in June 2026, use it to audit current campaigns while planning your migration. VS Code Copilot reads the MCP server schema directly, letting you run legacy drip campaigns using `trigger_drip_campaign` for backward compatibility.
