Key Capabilities
Auto-pilot daily updates inside Windsurf
The `create_update` tool lets Cascade write and post your daily standup check-in directly inside Windsurf using the Range MCP Server. Cascade reads your local git commits, drafts the update, and posts it directly to Range. You don't have to copy-paste your work or open a browser. Cascade uses `list_updates` to see what your teammates did, matches it with your local workspace changes, and files your update in seconds.
Align active tasks with team goals
The `list_objectives` tool pulls active goals directly into your Windsurf workspace via MCP. Cascade maps your current code branch against active goals to ensure you remain focused on what matters. It queries `get_objective` to pull specific milestones, then structures your active files to hit those key metrics. You get real-time context without leaving your editor.
Automated team sync reports
The `list_teams` tool allows Cascade to map out your organization structure directly. It pulls your team's recent activity using `list_updates` to summarize progress across the board. Cascade parses these updates to find blockers, then highlights what needs your attention using this MCP tool. You stay in the loop without sitting through a single status call.
