Key Capabilities
Inject real reading data into your Cursor code
Use the `get_book` tool to pull metadata from your library directly into the Cursor active editor window. Expect details like author, title, and category to populate your code templates with real data. Instead of using hardcoded mock data, Cursor reads live responses from your library. Your agent writes functional code that formats your actual book list on the fly.
Search your knowledge base using Cursor MCP Server
Run `search_highlights` to find specific quotes and concepts while drafting technical articles or documentation in Cursor. Your saved highlights and notes get queried and inserted directly into your markdown files. Cursor uses this MCP Server to locate relevant references without forcing you to switch to a web browser. You get immediate access to your curated thoughts right where you write.
Sync your reading sources in real time
Call `list_books_by_source` to filter your library by platform, such as Kindle or Pocket, using the MCP integration inside Cursor. Filtering by Kindle or Pocket helps organize your code or content based on where you originally found the information. You can also use `list_highlights` to extract the raw text, notes, and locations. Raw text, notes, and locations feed directly into your active development environment for quick processing.
