Key Capabilities
Extract live test data directly into Cursor files
When you are writing code in Cursor, your AI agent can read raw server logs and extract real test fixtures. It calls `extract_pattern` to grab actual emails and URLs from your environment and write them directly into your active editor buffer. This replaces manual copy-pasting during test generation. Your agent writes working code using real, formatted strings instead of hallucinated stubs, accelerating your local feedback loops.
Clean up raw data before committing code with this MCP Server
Keep production secrets out of your git history. While using Cursor agent mode to refactor code, you can have the agent run `mask_sensitive_data` on raw config files or database dumps inside your workspace. The tool instantly replaces actual emails and phone numbers with safe placeholders. This ensures you only commit clean, anonymous mock data to your repository while keeping your live workspace private.
Validate user input formats inside Cursor terminal tools
Stop writing fragile validation scripts by hand. Ask your Cursor agent to check your configuration files or environment variables using the `validate_pattern` tool. The tool returns an exact boolean match for emails, URLs, and phone numbers. Your agent can immediately tell you if a local configuration string is broken before you attempt to compile your project.
